The undefeated list is down to single digits. We started with 15 schools after Week 5, and six took their first loss in Week 6.
That leaves nine undefeated schools as of October 11, 2026. Of those, four are 6–0, and five are 5–0. These records come from my Week 6 FBS rankings.
Georgia and Indiana survived last week’s two matchups between unbeaten schools, each winning 20–17 on the road: Georgia at Alabama and Indiana at Nebraska. Alabama and Nebraska drop off the list, along with Duke, North Dakota State, Pittsburgh and Texas.

Following the list each week
Going into Week 7, nine schools still have a zero in the loss column. Notre Dame’s trip to BYU means at least one more will take its first loss. Indiana follows its win at Nebraska by hosting Ohio State, while UCLA returns home to face Wisconsin after winning 17–15 at Oregon. Let’s see how many make it through Week 7.
